When we had an emergency with my Redfoot Tortoise "Kane" a couple of weeks ago, I contacted my normal vet here in Beaumont but he had stopped seeing Exotics/Reptiles so the referred me to another local vet that just wasn't equipped or knowledgeable enough about Tortoises to help me, so they referred me to Country Club! Dr. Mocklin was immediately able to diagnose the severity of what was going on with Kane and prescribe the correct course of treatment and set my mind at ease with a more than favorable prognosis! Definitely worth the hours drive from Beaumont and great to know I have an experienced Exotics vet for my large number of Reptiles. Highly recommended! T.R.

We recently moved to Lake Charles with our senior Pomeranians and are so grateful to Country Club Veterinary Clinic for helping us treat our dogs' various health issues in their final years. Last week, one of them started declining very quickly, and Dr. Briley took extra time to explain her condition and what she was experiencing with the utmost compassion. Once we realized she wasn't able to recover after days of treatment, Dr. Briley helped us navigate the "not too early/not too late" conundrum of euthanasia and was able to come to our home to help her pass on. For a day you never want to come, it was the absolute smoothest and peaceful experience for our little girl. The staff was all so kind and considerate during this difficult time, and even sent us a card in which each one of them wrote a sweet message with their condolences. Country Club is now helping us keep our remaining dog as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. I am beyond happy with the treatment my dogs have received from both Dr. Mocklin and Dr. Briley, who complement each other very well. Thank you!
